In the company meeting room, Minister Suharso Manoarfa and his party listened to the project development progress report. He said the construction progress of the Bintan Alumina Indonesia Project (BAI) was very rapid, and was the fastest growing among several special economic zones. At present, the first phase of the alumina project is about to be put into operation, which will promote the development of the local economy well. At the same time, it is also hoped that BAI will pay attention to environmental protection and that environmental preservation can go hand in hand with economic development.

Hao Weisong, general manager of the company, said that BAI has always adhered to the concept of sustainable development and adhered to the new industrialization path of "high-tech content, good economic benefits, low resource consumption and less environmental pollution". BAI's alumina project in Indonesia has applied new technology extensively to carry out production management and environmental monitoring in a more scientific and intelligent way, and strives to achieve harmony and unity of economic development and ecological protection.

After the meeting, accompanied by company leaders, Suharso Manoarfa and his team visited the project site. After seeing the clean environment of the project site and the abundance of equipment, he expressed his pleasure and hoped that the BAI alumina project would start production soon, so as to encourage local economic development.
