Self-designed and reformed boiler mixed with coal-fired gas fly ash

Bintan Alumina Power Plant in Indonesia is a supporting power plant for 2000kt/a alumina, and it is also equipped with a coal-to-gas 5×40000Nm³/h circulating fluidized bed gasification boiler. 240-260t/d, the calorific value of coal gas fly ash is about 5100Kcal/kg. In the early stage of 1000kt/a alumina, coal gas fly ash can only be burned directly. The combustion capacity of one furnace is 7-10 tons/day (two furnaces), and the brick factory needs to bury 50-60 tons/day after manual mixing, and the previous design adopts intermittent ash feeding (every 5 minutes); There is no injection pipe, and the ash is blocked several times a day. It is time-consuming to clean and affects the combustion. When transporting dry ash, it also produces dust pollution to the surrounding environment. After mixing with ash, the boiler body, manhole, ash conveying pipeline valve, etc. are all black ash, and spontaneous combustion often occurs after heating. When the ash is buried outside, the air compressor is used to pump it out. Due to the fine ash and high fluidity, the dust and floating ash on the water surface are particularly large; the ash is often washed to the ground after it rains, which has a bad impact on the local society. In order to solve the above problems and achieve the goal of burning coal powder ash for coal-to-gas, the power plant carried out an upgrade on the raw coal-to-gas fly ash blending combustion system, and finally realized the complete digestion of coal powder ash.

The pressurization system of the warehouse pump, the auxiliary blowing conveying system, the nitrogen and compressed air system, and the logic of the ash conveying system have been respectively transformed. Compared with them, the transformed power plant can achieve continuous zero discharge of coal powder ash and complete combustion.
