On May 15, 2025, our subsidiary PT. Bintan Alumina Indonesia achieved an important milestone - the first one million tons capacity of the New Alumina Production Project has entered the trial production stage, becuase the raw materials began to conveyed to the crusher, and the dissolution unit simultaneously started the water and steam heat usage test.

As the core initial phase in the alumina production process, the crusher undertakes the major task of grinding raw materials such as bauxite to fine powder, providing high-quality slurry for subsequent processes. The successful operation of the crusher indicates that the raw material supply system of the entire project has been opened up. At the same time, the inlet steam heat test of the dissolution unit is also proceeding steadily. As the steam is slowly injected, the equipment gradually heats up, and the entire unit gradually demonstrates its efficient and stable production capacity, providing a strong guarantee for the subsequent production phases.
